Synergy Sustainable

Synergy SustainableTM

SynergySustainableTM is our brand of a host of products and services geared towards community service and societal development as a part of our cooperate social responsibility. Following is a list of various projects under SynergySustainableTM

Our role during Covid-19 Pandemic

  • Awareness lectures for local Police Department

During this crucial and unprecedented time, while many organizations focused on helping and assisting doctors and health workers, and rightfully so, however, people tended to forget that the professionals entrusted to safeguarding our streets also needed not only moral support but the right tools and training to face this challenging time without compromising their duties. In this spirit, we collaborated with a senior police official and visited various police stations and gave talks to police officers and patrolling cops on how to protect themselves during the pandemic while performing their duties.

  • Production and Supply of WHO Standard Hand Sanitizer

When hand sanitizers became an essential commodity, everyone experienced the hoarding and price gouging of hand sanitizers along with several other products in the market. To make matters worse, many of the products on the shelves of stores and pharmacies did not even have the right composition of ingredients to be effective! So we decided to utilize our laboratory and started manufacturing Hand Sanitizers compliant with WHO standards and made them available at a fraction of the cost, where we weren’t simply handing them out for free.

Education for the deserving

The universe has been very kind to us, due to the synergized effect of pure intentions and sheer dedication, we took off and never went down! In the spirit of giving back to the society, what better way could there be than to empower the underprivileged with the arsenal education; which is the greatest equalizer.

We conduct classes for students who otherwise could never see the inside of a classroom. Every child taking these classes has a story. A story struggle and sacrifice. We hope to be that turning point, that sliver of light in their story from where their fortunes changed, with the gift of education.

Our first student, Abdur Rehman, had to drop out of school to provide for his younger siblings so that they could continue to study. He had almost given up his hope of studying because his work schedule, ironically, of selling confectionery to school students during recess and home time, meant he could not attend school himself. He now comes to Synergy for lessons in the afternoon right after work to pick up where he left off.

Furthermore, we encourage and engage our O & A level students to lead these classes so that they can gain exposure to the much needed community service required to become a sensitive global citizen, and also acquire a unique experience to write about in their college applications.
Mr. Mubasher (Chief Nutrition Officer) throws in a snack or two after class for these students as well.

It’s a win-win for everyone.

And as an add-on whenever we can, we try to interact with these children to give them some exposure through seminars and other activities which otherwise they could never attend.

The Bridge

The bridge is an initiative under Synergy SustainbleTM with community development in mind. In its entirety, The Bridge, as the name suggests, provides a bridge between employers and employees. The Bridge aims to reduce unemployment in the society.

Through our personal experience we observed that employers are always frustrated about not getting the ‘right’ kind of individual to hire. On the other hand, graduates remain unemployed by thousands complaining about the lack of jobs and positions available in the market. Only in the private education sector, from where most of us come from, we know that teaching posts are open all year long with sufficiently lucrative packages for any fresh grad. The problem is, unfortunately, our universities fail to inculcate that professional attitude and practical aptitude among its graduates which every employer is looking for.

While at Synergy we are currently working in the education sector at the moment, but the scope of The Bridge aims to expand beyond this as we have several key figures from different private sector enterprises who are willing to provide training to upcoming and recent graduates of their respective field in order to increase their employability and chances of recruitment at any interview.

The Bridge is not a conventional HR firm where we take vacancies from employers and send them suitable candidates. The Bridge is more of a platform for professional development for recent and upcoming graduates. For example we have bank managers on board who provide training sessions to upcoming and recent graduates of Business Administration\Finance etc. on how to groom their personalities in order to increase their chances of employment in banking sector.

These seasoned vets also provide knowledge and understanding of their field which they have acquired over a number of years which no university curriculum teaches, the inner and actual nuts and bolts of any discipline. The students get a chance to hear and learn from established individuals of the field in which they’re seeking employment.
